Dear Readers,
This summer I will be in Israel, leading students from the University of Oklahoma to take part in a study tour with the Jezreel Valley Regional Project and to excavate at Megiddo. Afterwards, I will be carrying on my own research in Turkey and Greece. I would like to keep a blog of the trip and my research. But, my teaching and research plans will go beyond the boundaries of Umbria, as conceived for this blog. So, I've decided to start a new blog, called "Under the Mediterranean Sun." (Hard to believe that name was not already taken!) It is available here .
All of your favorite posts from Under the Umbrian Sun are already available at the new blog. So, please stay tuned to the new blog. I will be updating it over the summer, and in the future.
